TONY DELA CRUZ, THE PLAYER, THE PHILANTROPIST

By

“It’s so hard to see kids like that. Knowing that there are kids suffering like that and worse, they can’t even afford proper medicine,” ayon sa soft-spoken cager, na nag-umpisang tumulong sa PCMC matapos maging bahagi ng PBA Valentine party noong isang taon.

“It’s not just monetary support that we’re giving the children. My fellow players are also open to share their time to mingle and interact with the kids,” kwento ni De la Cruz na nagsabing regular na ring magpapadala ng laruan at damit ang kanilang grupo.

“This is our way of giving back to the public the love and support they have showered the league,” dagdag pa niya.

“Kita mo naman how the league has been breaking records sa viewership at gate receipts.”

“Not just their presence, the players have also learned to support this project by the PBA.. even by themselves,” giit ni Montreal na natutuwa at nagpapatuloy ang pagpapakita ng magandang kalooban ng mga players at opisyal ng liga.
