Blackwater escapes Barako; NLEX wins anew in PBA Women’s 3-on-3

Allana Lim took charge late to give Blackwater another win, this time over Barako Bull, 11-8, Friday in the PBA Dickies Women’s 3-on-3 Tournament at Smart Araneta Coliseum.

Lim scored four of the Elite’s final six points to put the Energy to sleep and finished with six markers in the process.

France Mae Cabinbin added three points even as Camille Sambile got two.

Janina Averilla topped Barako Bull with four points, as she was helped by Ailien Bernadez’ three.

In the second game, Anna Regina Buendia carried the load for NLEX in its 15-7 conquest of GlobalPort.

Buendia lit up the Batang Pier with seven points, as Angelica Ortega and Katherine Sandel both got three markers.

Julie Pearl Gula led GlobalPort with three points.

First Game

BLACKWATER 11 – Lim 6, Cabinbin 3, Sambile 2, Escoto 0.
BARAKO BULL 8 – Averilla 4, Bernadez 3, Dela Merced 1.

Second Game

NLEX 15 – Buendia 7, Ortega 3, Sandel 3, Bernardo 2.
GLOBALPORT 7 – Gula 3, Sinsioco 2, Santos 2.
