San Miguel and Meralco will fight for all the marbles in the 2016 Cloudfone Batang PBA 16 and Under Tournament Finals after disposing of their semifinal rivals Tuesday at Philippine Science High School Gym.
Jharles Uy captained the Beermen in a thrilling 73-70 victory over Ginebra in the first game.
Uy dropped 18 points to lead San Miguel to the championship round.
Etienne Evangelio also got 14 markers, Clark Sta. Cruz got 12, and Emmanuel dela Rosa uncorked 10 points in the big win as the Beermen fought back from an early 9-17 deficit.
It was a heartbreaking loss for the Gin Kings, which banked on the duo of Justin Palisoc and Stacey Tibayan.
Palisoc led Ginebra with 19 points, while Tibayan had 18 markers in the defeat.
The Bolts also advanced to the Finals with a grindout 74-72 win over Phoenix.
Francis Glorioso showed the way for Meralco with 26 points.
Christian Jae de Leon also got 19 markers, while Keenan Lim had 18 in the victory.
Resty Damaso topped the Fuel Masters in the defeat with 24 points, while Cayler Filio and Jannus Unidad had 11 markers each.
San Miguel and Meralco will wage war for the title on Thursday.
