Globalport is one of the few teams Blackwater has yet to beat in its PBA participation.
The Batang Pier hope to keep that distinction as they face off with the Elite at the resumption of the Oppo PBA Commissioner’s Cup at the Smart Araneta Coliseum Sunday.
Game time is at 3 p.m. with both looking to once again hit the .500 mark.
With both losing their last two games, Globalport and Blackwater are now in a heavy five-way logjam at sixth place with NLEX, Rain or Shine and Tropang TNT.
Both are raring to start picking up wins again.
The Elite dropped their last two games versus the Star Hotshots and the San Miguel Beermen while the Batang Pier yielded their last two matches against the Beermen and the Bolts.
Globalport is the slight pick with its 4-0 record in their head-on duels with Blackwater.
