Barako Bull made yet another roster adjustment hours before playing its first game in the PBA Governors’ Cup, giving away Allein Maliksi for San Mig Coffee’s Wesley Gonzales, Chris Pacana and the Mixers’ second round pick for 2017.

The Energy had been involved in numerous trade transactions before dipping their hands in this deal.

Right after their last game in the Commissioner’s Cup, the Energy dealt Josh Urbiztondo to the Barangay Ginebra Kings for Keith Jensen and a draft pick.

FEATURED STORIES

With the deal, the Kings got to use the services of Urbiztondo in their title showdown with the Alaska Aces.

Later on, Barako Bull served as conduit in trade deals entered into by sister teams under the SMC and MVP Group umbrellas.

The Energy absorbed Elmer Espiritu plus a future draft choice in the Japeth Aguilar-Jay Washington swap, then got Ronjay Buenafe and Gilbert Bulawan in the transaction moving Jared Dillinger from Talk n Text to Meralco.

Last weekend, Barako Bull ceded Doug Kramer to Petron Blaze for Dorian Pena plus a draft pick. (SB)
