EXPRESS MAY FINALLY LAND YEO
Another trade deal may well be on the way to the desk of PBA Commissioner Chito Salud.
In a latest round of player swapping, Petron Blaze has reportedly agreed to trade its hard slashing off guard Joseph Yeo to Air21 for hardnosed frontliner Mark Isip.
Yeo’s arrival at Air21 will give the Bert Lina franchise added teeth in offense, with the team also counting on KG Canaleta, Vic Manuel, Bonbon Custodio and another new arrival Asi Taulava.
The trade agreement is the second in three days for the Express after acquiring the playing rights to Taulava and Mark Borboran for Mike Cortez and James Sena in a trade approved last Saturday.
Isip, meanwhile, will beef up the fronline of Petron, which is on a 5-game winning roll. (SBadua)
