HOPING TO REVERSE THEIR FORTUNES
Two teams coming off heartbreaks are out to change their fortunes when they meet Sunday at the Mall of Asia Arena.
Coming off an 82-91 loss to Alaska, the Meralco Bolts want to stop the bleeding early as they look to bounce back after dropping two consecutive games.
Gary David, Jared Dillinger, Mike Cortez, and John Wilson, who were all instrumental in putting up a good fight in their last two games, now look to finish strong to get Meralco back on track.
On the other hand, Barako Bull just suffered an 80-87 overtime loss against Talk ‘N Text, when they bucked a paltry 19-point first half and clawed their way back to the game after being down by as much as 23.
JC Intal, Willie Miller, and Denok Miranda spurred the Energy run, but it was too much of the Tropang Texters in the extra period, which sent Barako Bull to its sixth straight defeat.
Game time between the 3-5 Bolts and the 2-6 Energy is at 3 p.m. (RL)
