Though they lost the All-Star Game, the PBA All-Stars came away with the consolation of bagging the Dance-Off duel over Gilas Pilipinas Sunday at the Mall of Asia Arena.

The PBA All-Stars surprised the crowd in their seven-minute routine, as Mark Barroca emerged in a curly wig to lip-sync “I Love Rock ‘n Roll”, and the rest danced to the tune of “Shots” and “Whoops Kiri”, with Joe Devance pouring his heart out in a dance solo.

“I thought we did pretty good,” said Devance. “We had a short time practicing it but I give credit to Arwind because he was so enthused and he was ready to go and I just added my own little choreography skills.”

Devance and the rest of the PBA All-Stars ran away with the P50,000 prize pot.

“Kaya naman ginagawa namin yun is para sa fans. Just have fun para di naman gaanong seryoso,” added Arwind Santos.

On the other performance, the Gilas players went out in Jabbawockeez masks and danced to the tune of “Whoops Kiri”, “What Does The Fox Say?”, and “Let It Go.”

Gary David openly said, “Panalo kami dun!,” while Marc Pingris added, “Para naman sa fans yun para masiyahan din sila.” (RL)
