ROOKIE DIARY: JERIC TENG
In my first year in the PBA, I learned that…
You have to handle the pressure kasi maraming magagaling na players ngayon kaya dapat mabilis ka mag-adapt. Once you’re get a break, syempre limited pa lang yung playing time na yun, you have to make the most out of it as a rookie.
I learned from the veterans that…
Yung confidence lang, dahil they tell me na limited yung minutes ko, so I have to be positive at pag open, tira lang. Every day sa practice naman, they tell me what to do.
My favorite moment so far in my rookie year is…
Getting to the Finals. I’m lucky enough na nakasali ako sa team na nakapasok sa Finals so hopefully this time, mag-champion naman kami.
I still have to improve on…
Lahat kailangan ko pang i-improve eh. Shooting, dribbling, and more of my physical attribute. Iba na yung laro dito so dapat pagbutihan mo na lalo.
I’ll grade my performance as…
Four. Masama pa yung laro ko. I still have to get my confidence and get myself going, but I’m working on it sa practice so hopefully, makuha ko sya soon. (RL)
