ASI WANTS THE KRAKEN
After seeing June Mar Fajardo battle the finest giants in the world stage in Spain, ageless Asi Taulava can’t help but be impressed with the Kraken’s improvement.
“He has improved a lot and I’m impressed,” the former MVP said.
Taulava has been vocal of his support for Fajardo in terms of ushering a new generation of players in the league and has been one of the Cebuano’s most ardent supporter in Gilas.
But Asi said it all ends there.
“I love him in Gilas, but when we’re facing each other in the PBA, it’s a whole new story,” he said.
This early, the Fil-Tongan is salivating on the prospect of them waging war in the paint once more when the 40th season of the PBA tips off in October.
“I’m excited. He has shown the world what he is made of and I can’t wait to face him in the PBA again,” said Taulava. (RL)
