ROAD WARRIORS, BOLTS TANGLE
One team eyes redemption while another seeks to score a followup on Wednesday when Meralco and NLEX face off in the 2015 PBA Philippine Cup at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
The Bolts are aching to bounce back from a 41-point humiliation at the hands of Alaska last Friday, and knowing coach Norman Black, losing once more isn’t an option.
Cliff Hodge has been impressive so far for Meralco, but the others must show their fangs if they want to improve their 2-1 standing.
NLEX coach Boyet Fernandez, meanwhile, wants to continue the Road Warriors’ winning ways after tasting his first PBA victory in six years.
The Road Warriors dealt fan favorite Barangay Ginebra its first loss in the tournament last Wednesday, and he hopes that this good showing from NLEX would be a sign of positive things to come.
“I hope that we’ll continue to improve,” he said. “But we’ll not settle for this win and we’ll look forward to the coming games.”
Game time is at 4:15 p.m. (RL)
