Playing his best game to date, Jeff Chan finally rediscovered his hot hand as he drilled four treys to finish with 23 points and a career-best 10 rebounds to pace Rain or Shine in the 99-71 demolition of Barako Bull on Friday.

“Last game against Talk ‘N Text, down kami ng 31 rebounds, lalo na sa offensive rebounds. Good thing naman, natatapat sa akin yung bola,” said the Negrense gunner.

Chan admitted that their struggles in their last game really hit the players hard, with coach Yeng Guiao even daring to trade half of the team.

FEATURED STORIES

“Kulang kami sa effort eh. Nakakainis. So nakita namin yung video at nakita naming mali nga yung ginawa namin,” he said.

His 4-of-8 sniping from three-point land finally ended Chan’s streak of bad shooting nights, a skid which he believes is rooted from his unfamiliarity with his squad.

So hopefully, makakuha kami ng consecutive wins.” (RL)
