COACH TAB COMPLETES 26-MAN GILAS POOL
With head coach Tab Baldwin’s list finally in the hands of the PBA, the league’s top brass will start meeting all the team owners as the new national team starts to take form.
Listing 26 names for his Gilas Pilipinas 3.0 pool, Baldwin and PBA commissioner Chito Salud will try to get the pulse of the league’s bigwigs as well as to ensure the support of the team owners.
Alaska’s Wilfred Steven Uytengsu, GlobalPort’s Mikee Romero, and Rain or Shine’s Raymond Yu and Terry Que will be the first owners to be visited by the group starting this week.
Gilas Pilipinas will compete in the FIBA Asia men’s championship in Hunan, China this September for a spot in the 2016 Summer Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro. (RL)
