FILLING THE GAPS
On a night when fellow Tropang Texter Jayson Castro was feted as the Best Player of the Conference, it was Ranidel de Ocampo who stole the show.
The Tanza, Cavite native sizzled with 33 points, a career-high in a Talk ‘N Text jersey, to go with five rebounds to keep his squad alive as it tied the series at 2-2 with a 99-92 Game 4 victory on Wednesday.
But for de Ocampo, it’s just a matter of filling the gaps left by his comrades.
“Kahit sino sa amin, pwede mag-step up.
With the series now a virtual best-of-three affair, de Ocampo believes that Talk ‘N Text owns the momentum and it would be looking to sustain the run in the next games.
Nasa isip namin na amin ang momentum kaya gusto namin ituloy yung panalo,” he said.
And the 6-6 veteran is expecting nothing less than a hard-knocks battle when they take the court once more on Friday.
(RL)
