For Michel Madanly, NLEX’s 113-102 win over Alaska felt really good.

He led the Road Warriors in scoring and made his presence felt all over the court with his nine rebounds and five assists.

But all the Syrian reinforcement is thankful for was a chance to finally finish a game.

“This is my first game that I played a full game,” he said. “I haven’t played a full game since I came here and they told me that last game was my best game, but I know I can do much better, even better than what I did today.”

Madanly has been through a lot so far this Governors’ Cup, incurring a neck injury in his first game and also suffering from leg cramps in his last games.

However, he said that all those setbacks are behind him now and he’s ready to figure well in the Road Warriors’ campaign.

“I’m 100-percent now and you can see that on the court,” he said.

And Madanly believes that he can still do more to improve NLEX’s current 2-4 standing, saying, “I still have a lot to do to help the team win.”

“We were lucky. We played hard, everybody played hard, executed the offense and defense, and I played good because of them. We have to keep it up,” Madanly said.

“I”ll try to play much better in the next game and fix my mistakes. I still have to work hard, get better, and help the team win more games.”(RL)
