You can’t help but feel bad for Hamady N’Diaye.

The Senegalese big man once again came up short for the Carnival on Wednesday.

Although he submitted his finest game to date – 31 points on 12-of-21 shooting,  to go with 21 rebounds and eight blocks – it still wasn’t enough as Kia fell to Rain or Shine, 90-94.

But for the hulking slotman who is more known for his defensive prowess, the development in his offensive game is just a much-needed boost in his quest to further improve his game.

“I always work on my offensive game. Now that I got the opportunity to do a lot of things for this team, I have to be basically the leader of this team. And it feels great,” he said.

However, N’Diaye admitted that as much as the gaudy stats make him look good, he’s more concerned on the team’s fate as Kia dropped to 4-5.

“It’s better to get the win in the end,” he said.

The Carnival wrap up their eliminations schedule against Talk ‘N Text and Meralco. (RL)
