For other teams, a 3-0 deficit is like an Everest of insurmountable difficulty.

Alaska, however, is not like the other teams.

Dubbed as the new comeback kids of the PBA, the Aces are staring at a potential sweep and yet Calvin Abueva, their workhorse of a forward, promised the Beermen they would be in for one hell of a Game 4.

“We will make sure they would go through the most difficult of obstacles in Game 4,” Abueva said after their Game 3 loss, 96-89, Wednesday at Smart Araneta Coliseum.

“Next game, they won’t take that trophy so easily.”

Abueva finished with 15 points and four steals as they put the Beermen to the test for more than 45 minutes until San Miguel found the right kick in the final minutes to stomp the Aces.

“Game 4, that won’t be easy,” Abueva said. “No team has come back from 3-0 and win four straight games.”
