RoS trades Araña for 2016 2nd round pick

Rain or Shine has traded guard Ryan Araña in exchange for a second round pick in the 2016 PBA Rookie Draft.

In a three-team deal approved by the PBA Commissioner’s office, the Elastopainters traded Araña to Barako Bull for the rights to its second round pick next year (acquired by Barako from Star in a trade involving Josh Urbiztondo).

The Energy then sent the 32-year-old guard to San Miguel in exchange for Ronald Pascual.

FEATURED STORIES

Araña, who was drafted by the Welcoat Franchise in 2007, will join a stacked Beermen side.

Pascual, meanwhile, will bolster the Energy’s line-up which includes versatile forwards JC Intal and Dylan Ababou.
