2015-16 PBA Season Preview: Talk N’ Text Tropang Texters
Talk N’ Text had a good overhaul over the off-season.
The Tropang Texters secured the services of top picks Moala Tautuaa and Troy Rosario which expected to boost the core which already has old reliables like Jayson Castro and Ranidel de Ocampo leading the charge.
Head coach Jong Uichico knows that everyone will be watching Talk N’ Text’s every move and he’s confident all of the moves will pay off sooner or later.
“The expectations are high for Talk ‘N Text, especially after the Draft,” said Uichico. “I’m sure it will all pay dividends in the long run.”
But it’s not all about the rookies.
Matt Ganuelas-Rosser, one of the budding stars for the Texters, got invaluable national team experience, adding to one of the many things he brings to the Texters.
Talk N’ Text, meanwhile, got the services of Denok Miranda and Dylan Ababou to fortify the already formidable Texters side.
All these makes Talk N’ Text a legitimate contender on paper in the offseason, as agreed upon by most if not all of the PBA Governors during the PBA pre-season press conference.
But Uchico knows none of these matter if they don’t perform up to the task.
“We have to translate that confidence in the basketball court,” he said.
