Dressing up as a superhero, cartoon character or celebrity for a night during Halloween has been a yearly thing here.

The PBA made sure its fans wont’t miss out on the Halloween craze with the league holding a trick-or-treat event apart from its double-header over the weekend.

Kids showed up in different costumes but it wasn’t just them who enjoy Halloween night with the PBA stars themselves admit that they also have their own unforgettable Halloween experience.

Talk ’N Text rookie Mo Tautuaa remembered Halloween as one of his best times in college.

“We had an anything-but-clothes party and I was running around in a loincloth. It was like a toga party and it’s a lot of fun,” said Tautuaa.

But unlike most kids, Tautuaa’s trick-or-treating days didn’t last long.

“I’ve always had a beard so I look a lot older. My trick or treating days got cut a little earlier at the most,” he said.

That wasn’t the case for Jay Washington, who had a go-to costume whenever that time of the year comes.

“I remember running around as Jason from Friday the 13th for three or four years straight, using the same mask, causing ruckus, stealing candies, and egging houses. It’s a lot of fun,” said the GlobalPort forward.

Far removed from his college days, Washington said he’s now trying to let his kids have the kind of Halloween he had even though it’s a bit different from what he experienced.

“It’s a little different here, a little more tame. But we go trick-or-treating and (my son) dressed up as Jack from Nightmare Before Christmas this year,” Washington said while showing off the intricate makeup his son wore for the parties.

Alaska guard Chris Banchero also couldn’t forget his Halloween moments.

“I love Halloween. Everybody loves to trick-or-treat. It’s a good time to go out door to door looking for candies,” he said.

“I was Bill Clinton at one point. I had a mask, a cigar, and I dressed up with a suit. It was a lot of fun.”

Doug Kramer’s kids also did not miss the celebration as the proud father of three shared his children’s outfits this year.

“Hotel Transylvania-themed, so parang vampires,” the GlobalPort big man said.
