Talk N’ Text, San Miguel score wins in PBA Women’s 3-on-3
Anna Maristela came through in the clutch, firing two long bombs to send Talk N’ Text to a pulsating 11-7 victory over Rain or Shine Wednesday in the Dickies-PBA Women’s 3-on-3 Tournament at Philsports Arena.
With the game tied at 7-7, Maristela scored all of her four points in the final minute as she fired the go-ahead two-pointer with 9.1 seconds left and followed it up with another two at the buzzer.
Arabella Rivera also had four markers while Anjenette Go chipped three in the win for the Tropang Texters.
Nikka Andrea Tupaz led Rain or Shine with four points, while Richelyn Badajos got three in the defeat.
In the second game, Karen Columna was a force to be reckoned with, leading San Miguel to a 9-6 win over Star.
Columna paced her squad with five points, as Nicole Ann Garcia got two.
Ayra Nil Hufanda fired two long bombs to finish with four points for the still winless Hotshots.
