Star may be sinking even further in the 2016 Smart Bro-PBA Philippine Cup, but one person believes it’s not a lost season yet for the Hotshots.

That’s San Miguel head coach Leo Austria.

“It’s just a matter of time,” Austria said of the Hotshots’ potential turnaround. “The fluidity of their plays look so good.”

Austria and his Beermen sent the Hotshots’ reeling to four games, while extending their own win streak to four with a 101-90 beating Saturday at Mall of Asia Arena.

“It’s just a start, they have to trust the system. That’s the problem of a new system,” Austria said.

Defending MVP June Mar Fajardo also pondered on the Hotshots’ woes, and like his coach, he believes they will figure out eventually.

“The players just have to embrace it,” Austria said.
