Barako stuns TNT to cap Dickies-PBA Women’s 3×3 campaign
Barako Bull used a strong finish to down TNT, 9-6, on Wednesday capping off its campaign in the PBA Dickies’ Women’s 3-on-3 Tournament at Smart Araneta Coliseum.
Regina dela Merced put the Energy up, 5-4, in the tightly contested game in the final two minutes.
Anjeanette Go’s tying jumper rattled out of the rim, which was answered by a huge two-pointer from Janina Averilla and another midrange hit from Aileen Bernadez to secure the Barako Bull win for good.
Dela Merced captained the win with four points, Averilla got three markers, and Bernadez had two.
Anna Maristela led the Tropang Texters with four points, while Go and Arabella Rivera had a point apiece.
In the second game, GlobalPort won via default when San Miguel players failed to appear at the Big Dome.

BARAKO 9 – Dela Merced 4, Averilla 3, Bernadez 2, Torres 0.
TNT 6 – Maristela 4, Rivera 1, Go 1, Felipe 0.
