June Mar Fajardo’s ACL and PCL on his left knee are intact based on the initial findings, according to San Miguel team manager Gee Abanilla.

That’s why the Beermen are confident that Fajardo could return to action for the PBA Philippine Cup Finals.

“We are confident that he will be ok for the series,” Abanilla also said in the statement.

“Most likely he can’t play tomorrow and we don’t know until when,” Austria said in a text message.

Austria added Fajardo’s injury is “nothing serious.”

Results of the MRI on Fajardo’s knee will be released Monday.

Fajardo was wheeled off from the Araneta floor in a stretcher and was rushed to St. Luke’s Medical City in Bonifacio Global City. San Miguel won over Rain or Shine, 90-82, to advance to the finals.
