Last conference’s finalists Blackwater and Ginebra had contrasting results in the PBA Tag Heuer Women’s 3-on-3 tournament Wednesday at Smart Araneta Coliseum.
Ginebra, composed of Angeli Gloriani, Vangie Soriano, Mary Joy Galicia and Maria Bautista, beat Phoenix, 11-7, in the first game.
Blackwater took a rare loss after dropping a 15-10 decision to Tropang TNT in Group B.
The Elite ruled last conference after sweeping Ginebra in the finals.
