Group B heavyweights Rain or Shine and GlobalPort will meet in the Finals of the Under Armour Batang PBA 12 and Under Tournament after handily downing separate foes in the semifinals Friday at JCSGO Gym in Cubao.
The Elasto Painters used a 27-point second quarter assault to break away and blast Star, 71-53.
From a close 24-17 first quarter affair, Rain or Shine just pulled away and even held a 36-point edge, 70-34 in the fourth before cooling off late.
John Durante paced his crew with 19 points, while Christian Allen Vergara added 13 markers.
Jhazel Aerol Paguiligan carried the Hotshots with 10 points in the defeat.
In the first game, GlobalPort disposed of Phoenix, 64-46.
After a tight first half, the Batang Pier stunned the Fuel Masters with a 21-4 third period to erect a 47-25 edge at the end of the third.
Luis Philip Santos led GlobalPort with 12 points, Thomas Lu chipped in 11 markers, while Joaquin Espina got 10.
Andre Luke Tablizo took charge for Phoenix with 11 points.
Rain or Shine and GlobalPort face off for the championship in Sunday at Smart Araneta Coliseum at 1:30 p.m., following the battle for third between Star and Phoenix at 12 noon.
