Hush now Alaska Aces fans.

PBA Commissioner Chito Salud last week slapped a P10,000  fine on Talk n Text Tropang Texters guard Aaron Aban.

The former Letran Knight was whistled for a Flagrant Foul Penalty 1 in Game 2 of the TNT-Alaska series for hitting Aces prized rookie Calvin Abueva right smack in the face.

In a statement to Frost Byte, Salud revealed that he already sanctioned Aban.

“Merun yun. Nag fine yun sampung libo. Hindi kasama sa mga na fine yun kahapon kasi ibang game yun eh,” said Salud.

Since the punishment on Aban was not publicized, this writer has also received numerous queries from fans, asking why the Talk n Text guard was not included in the list of players fined by the league Thursday.

“Hindi naman lulusot sa atin yang mga ganyang infraction, parehas na parehas tayo (sa treatment sa lahat),” concluded the strict but amiable league commissioner.

After being told of the Commissioner’s swift action, die-hard Alaska Aces supporter Lucila “Ate Lucy” Buenaventura felt somewhat relieved.

“Buti naman napagmulta yang Aban na yan, pero pakiramdam namin sana P30,000 din ang pinataw to be fair,” said Ate Lucy, referring to the fine levied on Cyrus Baguio for elbowing Jason Castro in Game 3.

“Yung kay Cyrus kasi kita naman na hindi sadya, yung kay Aban talagang deliberate eh,” protested Ate Lucy.
