PBA approves multi-player deal
The Mahindra Floodbuster underwent a major shakeup of its roster on Thursday by acquiring key players that will help boost their campaign in the PBA’s 42nd season.
Four days after the PBA Rookie Draft, Mahindra sent energetic Paolo Taha to Ginebra in exchange for Franklin Bonifacio and sophomore Dennice Villamor.
Mahindra also traded Aldreich Ramos and Keith Agovida, in a multi-player deal involving Star and San Miguel.
The Floodbuster dealt Ramos, a high scoring forward, and its 2017 second round pick to the Hotshots for guards RR Garcia and Alex Mallari.
Mahindra then shipped Garcia and small forward Keith Agovida to San Miguel in exchange for Ryan Arana and the Beermen’s 2018 first round pick.
