Pingris: Nanggigil lang din talaga kami
BOCAUE – Star did its best, but Marc Pingris knows it still wasn’t good enough.
The hardworking forward resigned to the idea that Ginebra was the better team on Christmas Day.
“Binigay namin lahat.
Aguilar torched Star with a career-high 32 points as Ginebra once again took this Christmas Clasico duel, 86-79, on Sunday at Philippine Arena here.
Pingris didn’t deny that loss was his team’s own doing, as the Gin Kings exploited their defense and also commanded the boards, 54-47.
Baka nanggigil lang din talaga kami,” he said.
Pingris said that this loss should only motivate Star as it eyes to bounce back strong when the new year comes.
“Maganda naman talaga yung laban. May nanalo at may natatalo,” he said.
Star returns to battle against Alaska on January 11.
