Meralco forward Cliff Hodge isn’t going to go scot-free from his grievous foul on Rain or Shine rookie Raymond Almazan towards the end of their game Wednesday after all.

Neither coach Yeng Guiao is getting away freely from his act at the end of the match.

PBA commissioner Chito Salud has summoned both Hodge and Guiao to hear their side on the incident marring the endgame of the match won by the Elasto Painters to force a deciding Game Three in their quarters matchup with the Bolts.

FEATURED STORIES

Hodge threw a clenched fist on a driving Almazan in the closing seconds of the match, prompting the fiery RoS mentor to confront the Meralco player at the end of the rugged game.

Instead of going straight to their lockers, Guiao waited for Hodge on the way to the exit.

And then Guiao showered Hodge with a mouthful. Guiao was even heard on TV calling Hodge “mongoloid.”

“Name-calling and the use of insulting language will have consequences, and that’s the reason why I’ve invited coach Yeng over tomorrow,” said Salud.

On Hodge’s infraction, Salud said: “In my mind, it’s easily reviewable for a possible flagrant foul and that’s why Hodge is also being summoned for a possible upgrade.” (SB)
