ALAS TO NLEX
After fixing its issues with Paul Lee, Rain or Shine has decided to let go of second overall pick Kevin Alas.
The Elasto Painters have decided to deal the scoring guard to the NLEX for the Road Warriors’ first rounder in next year’s Draft.
Alas will be reunited with his former squad in the D-League, where he won the Most Valuable Player in the 2014 Aspirants’ Cup.
The 6-foot guard will be a big boost for the Road Warriors, as they will acquire a player familiar with their system.
Rain or Shine, meanwhile, continues to rack up picks in exchange for key players. It previously nabbed a pair of second round picks from Talk ‘N Text in exchange for Larry Rodriguez. (RL)
