2014 GREAT, BUT JUNE MAR HOPING 2015 BRINGS CHAMPIONSHIP
For the fourth straight year, it was a cold Yuletide season for June Mar Fajardo.
Spending the holiday season in Manila away from his family in Cebu, the reigning league MVP said that he has learned to adapt to the situation.
“Sa condo lang ako. Mag-isa nga lang ako eh,” he said. “Boring pero nasanay na rin ako.”
But with San Miguel Beer already in the Finals, it wasn’t as gloomy as the previous years for June Mar. He is just four wins away from fulfilling a wish he’s had since he entered the league in 2012
“Sana sa 2015, championship naman,” Fajardo quipped.
But all-in-all, Fajardo is just thankful for the great year, from being the MVP to his stint with the national team in the world stage.
“Maganda ang tinakbo ng career ko this year kaya masaya,” he said.
And he’s just happy that he’s in good company with his teammates in San Miguel, saying, “Nagpapasalamat ako kay God na napasok ako sa San Miguel at napapaligiran ako ng mababait na tao.” (RL)
