DUNIGAN BRACES FOR WAR WITH THE KINGS
Another PBA stint, another PBA team, but same old mentality.
Michael Dunigan braces for his second trip as a reinforcement in the league, this time with Barangay Ginebra San Miguel, but just like last time with Air21, he doesn’t want to jump the gun and make any bold predictions.
“I have no expectations. This is the same with the guys the last time I was here, I just try to compete and play hard,” he said. “It’s step-by-step, game-by-game. I’ll try to compete. What happens happens.”
Dunigan averaged 23.9 points, 15.4 rebounds, 3.3 assists, and 2.4 blocks in the 2013 Commissioner’s Cup with the Express. However, his main focus is to help this squad get over the hump this conference.
“It’s a veteran team. Of course, I see myself as an inside threat. They know what I can do, I know what I can do. As long as we’ll play hard, we should be fine,” he said.
And “Dunkin’ Dunigan” said that he’s pumped up to go at it again in the PBA.
“I’m always ready for the challenge, that’s why they got me. That’s why I’m here.” (RL)
