Alaska’s Eric Menk suffered a broken nose after being on the receiving end of an inadvertent elbow from Star’s Marc Pingris Tuesday night.

Menk took a wayward elbow from Pingris as the Hotshots forward’s last-second attempt in the second quarter got blocked by Calvin Abueva.

The 41-year-old Menk writhed in pain with blood gushing out of his nose as both teams went back to their respective dugouts.

Alaska assistant coach Louie Alas ruled Menk out of the second half.
