Batang PBA: Due lights up as Ginebra stays on top
CJ Malik Due once again went on a scoring barrage to help Ginebra stay at the top of Group A in the Under Armour Batang PBA 2016 12-and-Under Tournament Wednesday at Philippine Science High School Gym.
Due fired 29 points to show the way for the Gin Kings for their second win after hammering NLEX, 61-44.
Hans Matthew Quizon added eight markers in the win.
No one from the Road Warriors were able to crack double-digits, as Marcus Benedict Gabriel topped his team with eight points.
In the second game, Phoenix clobbered Mahindra from the get-go to take a 56-33 victory.
Ian Angelo Olivar led the Fuel Masters with nine points, while Kurt Patawaran added eight.
Lucios Nash Tongco paced the Enforcers with eight points in the defeat.
In the third game, Mark Alistaire Pastrana and Justin Moen Ramos teamed up to carry Blackwater to a 61-44 win over San Miguel.
Pastrana fired 17 points, while Ramos had 11 markers to help the Elite down the Beermen.
Asaiah Matthew Inductivo led San Miguel with 11 points, while Keith Anthony Wongchuking chimed in 10 in the
loss.
