Under Armour Batang PBA: NLEX nabs first victory
Paolo Galotera and Enzo Samson carried NLEX as the Road Warriors gutted out a 53-43 victory over Phoenix for their first win in the Under Armour Batang PBA 12 and Under Tournament Thursday at Philippine Science High School Gym.
The duo combined for 18 points as NLEX weathered a tough fightback from the Fuel Masters.
Miguel Geof Lopez and Miguel Jesus Torre also added six points apiece in the victory.
Sean Gabriel Martires led Phoenix with 12 points.
In the second game, Rain or Shine bucked a poor first quarter to score a 65-38 rout of TNT.
Xymon Mayze Nadurata showed the way for the Elasto Painters, dropping 14 points in the blowout.
The trio of Christian Allen Vergara, Julius Christian Francia, and Spencer Tyrone Chua also caught fire, tallying 10 markers each.
Timothy Rich Cruz and Steven Chan carried the Tropa with 10 points apiece.
In the third game, Meralco used a balanced attack to stave off San Miguel, 52-38.
Jose Antonio Pablo paced the Bolts with eight points, while Osairy Balindong had seven.
Asaiah Mattew Balindong topped the Beermen with eight markers in the loss.
In the last game of the playdate, Mahindra topped Alaska with a 49-42 win.
Lucios Nash Tongco carried the Enforcers with 14 points, while Isaac Johann Dy and Patrick Chan combined for 12.
Christian Nathaniel Sy anchored the Aces with 12 markers.
