Two teams looking to find their footing in the 2016 PBA Governors’ Cup clash on Sunday.
Skidding Star and GlobalPort face off at Smart Araneta Coliseum, with only one squad coming out with a win to boot at the end of the day.
Changes have yet to be felt in the Batang Pier fort and the young team isn’t leaving any stones unturned to save their conference early.
The team has already swapped imports, parading Mike Glover in exchange of Dominique Sutton, as coach John Cardel and active consultant Franz Pumaren eye their first win at the helm for GlobalPort.
Star isn’t any better, falling to Blackwater in a heartbreaking 100-98 loss on Friday.
Allein Maliksi has shown he could be a huge boost for the Hotshots beside import Marqus Blakely, but it would take more than that to finally claim that first victory in the season-ending conference.
Tip-off is at 4:30 p.m.
