Ginebra, GlobalPort triumph in Women’s 3×3
Ginebra and GlobalPort scored huge wins in the PBA Women’s 3×3 Tournament Wednesday at Ynares Center in
Antipolo.
Amelita Gutierrez paced Ginebra in a tight 6-3 victory over Phoenix in Group A action.
Gutierrez fired three points as the Gin Kings notched their fourth win in five games.
Jacquelyn Suarez had two markers, while Monika Reyes got one.
Anna Floralde carried Phoenix (1-4) with two points in the loss.
In the second game, GlobalPort sent Blackwater crashing with an 11-8 victory.
Vangie Soriano and Julie Pearl Gula both carried the Batang Pier with four points as they took the top spot
in Group B with a 5-1 slate.
Jelline Batnag paced the winless Elite (0-6) with five markers in the loss.
