GlobalPort deals Kramer to Phoenix for Pennisi
Globalport and Phoenix agreed to a one-on-one player swap on Friday, nine days before the PBA opens its 42nd season.
The deal sent hardworking Batang Pier forward Doug Kramer to the Fuel Masters in exchange for Mick Pennisi, a dependable big man with a soft touch from afar.
Kramer’s trade to Phoenix, his eighth team in nine seasons, reunites him with his Ateneo teammates JC Intal and Paolo Bugia, currently the team’s team manager.
