After picking Gilas stalwart Mac Belo and sweet shooting Ael Banal in the 2016 PBA Rookie draft, Blackwater added another offensive piece to its roster by acquiring Dylan Ababou from TNT in a trade Tuesday, five days before the PBA opens its 42nd season.

Ababou joins Ronjay Buenafe and James Forrester in the list of Elite’s backcourt acquisitions.

As part of the deal, TNT gets Frank Golla, a former Blue Eagle who is known to be a dependable defender with a decent perimeter shot. The KaTropa need a big man to help out sophomores Troy Rosario and Moala Tautuaa secure the middle. Golla, hopefully, provides ample back-up to the young TNT frontline.
