‘THE BLUR’ NAMED CONFERENCE MVP
THE door to limitless possibilities has just been opened for Jayson Castro.
Talk ‘N Text’s speedy point guard bagged the 2012-13 PBA Philippine Cup’s Best Player of the Conference award and now has a clear shot at more honors, including the season Most Valuable Player plum.

Per league rules, the BPC award in the traditional season-opening tournament carries with it a 40 percent share in consideration int he statistics criteria for the season MVP.
The handsome BPC plaque was awarded to Castro by PBA commissioner Chito Salud prior to Game 4 last night of the Philippine Cup finals series between TNT and Rain or Shine, which the Tropang Texters are trying to close out via a four-game sweep.
For Castro, however, his sights are aimed more at helping TNT win the championship, which would be his fourth with his team. (NC)
