Ginebra places 3rd in PBA Women’s 3×3 caging
Vangie Soriano and Mary Joy Galicia made sure that Ginebra went out in style, shutting down TNT, 12-6 to get third place in the PBA Women’s 3×3 Tournament Thursday at Philsports Arena.
Vengeful from missing a return trip to the Finals, the Gin Queens vented their frustration on the hapless Tropa to handily place in the podium.
Soriano and Galicia both finished with five points apiece, while Maria Micaela Bautista added two in the victory.
Sarah Mercado paced TNT with three points while the rest of the Tropa struggled to get their groove going in the offensive end.
Karen Salapong and Diwa Paz both had a marker each.
