PRINGLE CAN’T WAIT TO TAKE ACT TO PBA
Top prospect Stanley Pringle is just elated that after the long wait, he is just five days away from finally joining the PBA.
“I’m excited,” he said. “It’s an honor to be considered one of the top prospects.”
Pringle, 27, played college ball at Penn State University before he suited up for teams in Belgium, Poland, Ukraine, and in the ABL with the Indonesia Warriors.
He is expected to be tabbed first overall by GlobalPort in the 2014 Gatorade PBA Rookie Draft.
Taking part in the various skills test on the second day of the 2014 Gatorade PBA Draft Combine, Pringle showed that he is worth all the hype as he showcased his mettle and topped the 3/4 court sprint test.
“I think I did alright. I came out focused, getting through all the tests, not getting hurt because it’s slippery. I just wanted to be solid,” he said.
Going into the Sunday event, Pringle said that he’s not pressured at all and he is just ecstatic on the idea of finally being a part of the PBA.
“It’s just a blessing. I’m happy to be considered one of the top picks. Just going in really makes me more excited and I just take in the situation as it is,” he said. (RL)
