PBA Draft Focus: Mahindra Enforcers
Picks: (First Round) No. 2; (Second Round) No. 2
If there’s something that the Manny Pacquiao-coached squad proved in its first season in the PBA, it was that Kia would never back down against any opponents.
Showcasing tremendous defensive intensity Kia—now known as Mahindra—recovered from a poor first conference and has since stunned a lot of teams.
And with the Rookie Draft looming, it’s a good time for the Enforcers to select a much needed scoring punch (no pun intended) to bolster its budding lineup.
The past season saw the bulk of its offense shouldered by the reinforcements with locals chipping in from time-to-time. Though LA Revilla proved to be reliable asset for Mahindra in the point guard position, it has been an inconsistent ride for the rest of the team.
And at number two, the Enforcers are at a prime position to pick the best talent available in the rookie pool which can help the squad for the long haul.
It’s a no-lose situation for the expansion team, and whoever they select should be able to contribute immediately and be at the forefront of Mahindra’s fight this coming PBA season.
