PBA Fast Talk: Newsome teases about joining Slam Dunk competion
If there’s one moment in Chris Newsome’s young professional career that has been memorable for the fans, it was definitely his thunderous slam dunk over Arwind Santos.
The Bolts rookie was naturally asked about that sequence when he took over the league’s official Twitter @pbaconnect for the “Tweetmisan” on Friday hours before their game against NLEX.
“Great way to start my PBA career,” he simply said.
The highly-athletic forward, who has proven that he has the hops, even teased about joining the Slam Dunk competition.
Newsome was game in answering the fans’ queries, ranging from questions about fellow Atenean Kiefer Ravena, his teams in the NBA, to his favorite food or celebrity crushes.
