Kevin Ferrer has yet to wear an official Barangay Ginebra jersey, but when it comes to the team’s “never-say-die” attitude, the lanky forward has already lived it.

In his first three years at University of Santo Tomas, Ferrer played under one Ginebra legend in Pido Jarencio.

And Ferrer knows all too well how to play with that famous Ginebra battlecry.

“Barangay Ginebra is Barangay Ginebra, may attitude din na never say die,” said Ferrer Sunday at Robinson’s Manila during the 2016 PBA Draft.

Ferrer made the UAAP Finals thrice, the first two under Jarencio.

At Ginebra, Ferrer knows he will quickly learn from one of Philippine basketball’s brightest minds in head coach Tim Cone.
