San Miguel Beermen spend afternoon with fans at meet-and-greet
The glory days of San Miguel Beer are definitely back.
And how did the Beermen celebrate their conquest? With their fans, no less.
San Miguel diehards trooped to Robinson’s Galleria on Thursday for the Beermen’s meet and greet session with their fans.

“Ang saya kasi ang daming pumuntang tao (It’s great because many people came.),” said back-to-back MVP June Mar Fajardo.
“It’s surprising, really,” said Marcio Lassiter of the fans fielding in questions like journalists. “It was fun interacting with the fans.”
Seizing the opportunity, the fans bombarded the players and coaches different questions which ranged from personal developments, the journey to the title, and finally, to a prediction for next season’s campaign.

Though the consensus answer was a perfect-10 when it came to the prospects of them defending the Philippine Cup, one brave soul opted to give another number.
“I’m just at a five,” said coach Leo Austria. “I still want to see improvement from our guys if we want to retain our championship.”
And if they do, the Beermen might just have another round of this fans’ day in the future.
