Meralco, NLEX bag contrasting wins in PBA women’s 3×3
Meralco and NLEX pulled off contrasting wins in the PBA Women’s 3-on-3 Wednesday at Smart Araneta Coliseum.
The Bolts prevailed over the Blackwater Elite in a nip-and-tuck affair, 7-6, in Group B play while the Road Warriors left the Enforcer in the dust, 15-4, in the other group.
Jessica Polindey hit the winning basket for Meralco, which registered its first win in two outings.
Fria Bernardo led NLEX’s charge with seven points while Vanessa Santos and Analyn Almazan had four points apiece. The Road Warriors upped their slate to 2-1.
Mahindra fell to 1-3 while Blackwater dropped to 0-2.
